Everyone I suspect will have their own take on our Prime Minister apologising for ‘Partygate’. Personally I feel it was just an empty gesture and he seems to have got away with lying both to the public and Parliament.
Given that our own MP Geoffrey Cox has similarly escaped any real consequence over his extremely profitable mitching from Parliament (legal earnings of £270,368 between January-April 2022) one is left with a bad taste in the mouth and a very real suspicion that there is one law for them and another for us.
